Great place to visit and take kids. So much to learn about different military vehicles, equipment, and their history. First time visiting with my grandson, and he enjoyed it. We missed the tank ride due to a lack of visitors at the time, but it was still fun.
After so many years of passing by on the highway, we took the time to visit. Fantastic assortment of military history with amazing displays. Well worth the stop, allow ample time to recognize the sacrifices made for our freedom.
Crazy the amount of military unique objects they have. $10 is way too cheap. They had to move from 150 acreas to where they are now..so understandable their caois. Was very mind blowing being x military. They have it all..then some. Respect their things...they offer it to educate. It's not an amusement park. If you ask.. they may accommodate... just ask first. It's their personnel property that they are sharing for less than a cup of coffee...had a great day ..my honeys bday...lot of memories for him. Owners are super friendly people... really... bad reviews are from bad people..who damaged things and did not follow rules...highly recommend.
Done just drive on by and miss an opportunity to get up close to a lot of tanks and military aircraft and memorabilia. It looks small but you'll spend a couple hours steadily moving from one exhibit to the next and outside for some hands on climb on aircraft and vehicles.

Seeing these vehicles in person gives perspective on just how beastly some of these things were in real life. Very interesting and an affordable way to spend an afternoon.
Nice museum with a lot of old military equipment. The owner took time to talk to us after he crushed a car with a tank. We will be back.
Amazing place for families to enjoy. The Russel Military Museum may not be a Smithsonian, but it has just as much history and lots more personal feelings than any other museum I have visited. Being a Disabled Veteran, the Sonday's made me feel very comfortable and very accommodating for me to help with me getting around in my wheelchair. Thank you!!!
My mind is blown by how amazing this place is. If feels so weird being next and some inside of these amazing pieces of history. This is a amazing place with so many types of things from M4 tanks to slot machines that went to war with are soldiers. I couldn’t help myself and got that ammo can. Absolutely awesome, must go for any history buffs
